In the gritty underbelly of Los Xacinto, Auburn Joy was a name whispered with both fear and admiration. An ex-CIA operative turned freelance vigilante, she was known for her relentless pursuit of justice and her loyalty to those who couldn't protect themselves.
Her partner was a sleek, jet black 1967 Pontiac GTO, affectionately called "P-ride".
Joy had rescued P-ride from a scrapyard a decade earlier, recognizing the car's hidden potential. After months of meticulous restoration and technical modifications, P-ride emerged as a formidable ally to Joy, and a feared foe to all enemies.
One evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, Joy received a tip about a human trafficking ring operating out of an abandoned warehouse near the docks. The stakes were high, and time was running out for the kidnapped victims, two women and a boy from Medellin.
Without hesitation, Joy donned her black leather jumpsuit, holstered her pistol, and slid into P-ride's driver's seat. Together, they sped through the city streets, weaving through traffic with precision and grace.
Arriving at the docks, Joy parked P-ride in the shadows, and slipped inside the warehouse. She moved swiftly, taking down guards with precise, silent strikes. She found the victims locked in a cage, their eyes wide with terror and hope.
Joy quickly picked the lock, and the cage door swung open.
"You're safe now," she whispered, leading them towards the exit. As they approached the warehouse door, they heard the sound of reinforcements arriving.
"Go!" Joy commanded. "P-ride is parked outside. He'll get you to safety."
The victims hurried out, and Joy turned to face the oncoming threat. She fought fiercely, her movements a blur of speed and strength.
Just as she was about to be overwhelmed, she heard P-ride’s engine roar. The GTO burst through the wooden warehouse bay door, its headlights blinding the attackers. Joy leaped onto the hood, and P-ride sped out of the warehouse, scattering the remaining guards.
As they raced away from the docks, Joy looked back at the rescued victims, huddled safely in the back seat. P-ride and Joy disappeared into the night, ready for the next mission, the guardians of those who could not fight for themselves.
